Lee and Joe agree on almost nothing.

Joe Caughey and Lee Shaffer have an uncanny amount in common: both began their careers at major fire truck OEMs and love to nerd out about fire tech, they both have volunteer firefighter experience, they're around the same age, and currently, they sit next to each other at their day jobs in the fire apparatus industry.

Yet, their opinions couldn't be more different. These two are known around the office for their perpetual, albeit amicable, bickering on all things tech in the fire industry.

The decision to turn their antics into a podcast culminated after some of their co-workers listened to them go back and forth for the entire 9-hour drive back to the office from Indianapolis after FDIC 2023. There are hundreds of decisions a fire department must make when spec'ing a new truck, and Lee and Joe argued about all of it.

Enter The Supply Line Podcast. Their goal is to be a real-life version of a "vibrant" Facebook comment section, asking the real questions that firefighters have on both the new and old ideas of the American Fire Service, and fielding these questions directly to those that have the answers.

For those who find themselves at odds with any of the opinions aired on the show, Lee and Joe welcome the challenge - hit them up on the podcast socials and get ready for a spirited debate.
